Once again we give you our favourite tried and tested kids books.
Here are our top 5 kids books for this month:
1. Annie’s Chair by Deborah Niland
Jack (4) loves this book as mum always reads it in a funny voice – especially the part when Annie cries! Mum loves this book because it reminds her all to well of her own family life!
2. Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell
Ted (2), a member of our Testing Team, loves Dear Zoo! He enjoys the lift-the-flaps and understands (and mimics!) all the animal noises. Mum loves this book, too, as the pictures are beautiful and because there aren’t too many words!
3. The Brothers Quibble by Aaron Blabey
A very funny read – especially for those that have 2 sons (like me!) Read our interview with Aaron Blabey here.
4. My Dad’s The Coolest by Rosie Smith and Bruce Whatley
As cheesy as these types of books can be, this one is actually great with lovely pictures. Perfect to read on Father’s Day!
5. We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury
More than 25 years on and still a brilliant read for little monkeys! Why not sing this wonderful book? The author teaches you how: https://youtu.be/
